What is CoSHH Awareness?
CoSHH is the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health. In this awareness course, we cover the legalities, the details contained in CoSHH assessments as well as Manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
The Hazards
We discuss the routes of entry and how the chemicals can affect your workers. We demonstrate the hazards symbols and their meanings as well as not all harmful elements have a symbol.
Controlling the Risk
Before we choose to use PPE, we need persons to understand the hierarchy of control and where PPE is not always the best option. We also discuss the first aid measures if a person is affected.
Personal Protective Equipment
How and why persons using PPE need to ensure they follow the company rules and the manufacturer's guidance. When PPE is used, it is often a vital last resort to do a job safely.

Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (CoSHH) awareness can be delivered face to face or via Zoom/Teams. We feel that delegates get a far better experience when the course is delivered in person, however, we appreciate this is not always possible so we work around you and your needs.
